Peter & Anthea HoffmannAlmost a fairy story! Well for us it happened, searching for it, there it was - 20 odd acres of vineyard (all the wrong grapes) an old cottage in need of repair, cold water only, outside loo, leaking roof - the whole catastrophe.

Even the vineyard sections had strange but romantic names - The Oldies, Dead Horse Corner, Honey's Hill, this was in 1978.

We moved our dreams along with many hours of hard work and regular visits to our friendly bank manager.

The vineyard was revamped, the cottage made liveable, grapes were sold to local wineries.

We worked hard, we learned more about winemaking and our fairy story became more and more real, we started making wine and selling it.

Look at the fairy story now - Paradise is a wonderful comfortable cottage still with the charm of yesteryear. The vineyard is producing grapes of superb quality to turn into our premium wine now exported to many parts of the world.
